Eggers Funeral Home Hosts 2007 6th Annual Day of Remembrance Service

On Saturday, December 1, 2007, Eggers Funeral Home and Crematory of Chesnee was host to our 6th Annual Holiday Remembrance Service from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. Our special guests were the families of those we had served in 2007, both at the Boiling Springs and the Chesnee locations. Each family received a special angel ornament with their loved one’s name inscribed which can be used year after year as a remembrance of our love toward them and also their love and trust toward us.

Dr. David Lancaster, pastor of Green Point Baptist Church of Boiling Springs, delivered a massage of hope, remembrance and encouragement. This uplifting program also included seasonal music performed by the Chesnee High School Chorus, under the direction of Ms. Kim Willard, Green Point Baptist Church Choir, directed by Mr. Tim Hammett, and the Eggers Staff Singers.

This is our way of expressing our heart-felt sympathy for those families who will be experiencing their first Christmas without their loved ones.
