In Memory of Rev. John B. Eggers, Jr.
Betty Eggers and the Eggers family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, kind words, and support this past week. Our community lost a great man of God, servant, and friend to everyone he met. Though John’s passing has and continues to be difficult for each of us, we have peace in knowing that he is now enjoying his eternal home with his Savior.
John and Betty have dedicated themselves to serving our community through funeral service for over 20 years thus far, assisting countless families and leaving fond memories of John and Betty with each of us. One man’s mission lived out to his very end.
John loved his wife, his church, his church family, the funeral profession, his staff but above all, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed and most remembered for his charm, charisma, witty sense of humor and his constant compassion and encouragement shown to others.
His presence will undeniably be missed at our offices. Betty and our family of staff know the best way we can honor his legacy of service and compassion is to continue his work of helping our neighbors through the funeral homes that continue to bear the Eggers name.
